It's Kind of a Funny Movie

This is a movie review for "It's Kind of a Funny Story". By our title, you may be able to understand that we found this movie slightly humorous- emphasis on slightly. Although the lighthearted quips about the cliches of teenaged depression and romance were a nice relief from the mainstream interpretations, the film could have used more comic relief. Personally, I think more Solomom (the weird jewish-type tweaker) scenes would have achieved this sufficiently. Zach Galifianakis had a loveable character that also gave him a chance to portray a serious side of his acting. An overall almost good movie.
